Milongas
A Milonga is the term for places or events where the Tango, or Milonga (Milonga is also the name given to a Tango related dance), are being danced.
In Copenhagen you have the possibility to dance argentine tango every day of the week.
In 2010, Bärbel was involved in the organization and music arrangement of two Milongas in Copenhagen (DK):
- Tanzbar Milonga
- Milonguita, Copenhagen (Wednesday).

Tanzbar Milonga
“Tanzbar Milonga” was presented every other Friday (odd number calendar week), in cooperation with SkabKunst.dk in 2009/2010.
During the summer 2010 “Tanzbar Milonga” moved to the country side of Denmark, to South Sealand.
In October and November 2010, two Tanzbar Milongas, in cooperation with HOMESTEAD tango CPH | Sabine Rohde, took place. Thanks to Sabine Rohde for housing the Saturday Tanzbar Milonga.

Milonguita
In 2010 the milonga “Milonguita” took place at Cafe Kellerdirk and in September 2010 Milonguita moved to Borups Højskole.
DJ Henrik Uldall or DJ Bärbel Rücker | Tanzbar played traditional tango music spiced with some alternative music.
