If you want to rest for a while after your sightseeing tours or taking a sunbath, Copenhagen has nice parks. During the summer a lot of Danes hanging around there, having a picnic, taking a sun bath or playing football out there.

Nowadays, the gardens are a popular breathing space in the centre of Copenhagen and are visited by 2.5 million people every year.
Botanisk Have | Botanical Garden
Botanical Garden & Museum is situated in the heart of Copenhagen. The garden is a living museum and room for the largest collection of living plants in Denmark.
Tivoli | Tivoli Garden
Tivoli is one of the oldest amusement parks of the world and the park consequently exudes tradition and history. However, innovation blossoms everywhere like the floral splendor of the garden. Tivoli is always in progress and thus the garden is used as much by local Copenhageners as by tourists.
